Sanoficonnect.ro served as a digital platform tailored for healthcare professionals, particularly diabetologists and cardiologists. It aimed to enhance communication between Sanofi and physicians while providing easy access to the latest medical information. Developed in response to physicians' reliance on internet resources, the platform acted as a centralized hub offering scientific support, information on Sanofi products, online services like samples and pen orders, medical investigations, and event calendars. By providing a convenient "one-stop-shop" for information and services, Sanofi aimed to boost engagement with healthcare professionals and gain a competitive advantage. Additionally, it utilized data-driven insights to customize content based on physicians' real-time interests and behaviors.

I was involved in this project in the early phase if its inception, acting as the ITS Digital Business Partner. In this capacity, I contributed to the alignment of the business initiative with technical and qualitative standards across the company, ensuring thorough validation from various perspectives. Upon my promotion to Customer Engagement Manager for Romania, my responsibilities evolved to encompass overseeing content, user management, and e-mail campaigns coordination.

 

Key Roles and Achievements:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Collaborating with various teams including IT, design, content creation, and sales to ensure seamless website management and alignment with overall marketing efforts. I cultivated  a robust collaboration with the scientific facets of the business, particularly the medical affairs and regulatory teams. Together, we meticulously certified and validated all content, ensuring strict adherence to pharmaceutical standards and nationwide regulations.
  • Utilizing data analytics tools to track website metrics, user behavior, and campaign performance, and leveraging insights to drive informed decision-making and optimization strategies.
  • Overseeing content creation, publishing schedules, and editorial calendars to ensure consistent and engaging content across the website.

Challenges:

  • Restricted Access: The platform was limited to healthcare professionals (HCPs) only, necessitating stringent validation processes to ensure users were qualified doctors.
  • Time-Consuming Validation: Due to the extensive scientific content on the platform, the validation process by medical and regulatory teams often resulted in delays.

Overcoming Challenges:

  • Implemented streamlined validation procedures to expedite the verification of user credentials, ensuring quicker access for verified HCPs.
  • Enhanced communication channels between stakeholders to facilitate smoother collaboration and expedite validation decisions.
